Job Summary

A company is looking for a Medical Coder - Cancer Services, Remote.

Key Responsibilities

• Review, interpret, and verify diagnostic and clinical codes for oncology providers based on clinical reports
• Conduct thorough audits of charges in inpatient and outpatient settings to ensure compliance before claim submission
• Provide feedback to physicians and management regarding documentation, coding, and denial management

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Associates degree or 2+ years of experience in a physician office setting
• CPC certification within 6 months from date of hire
• 2+ years of billing experience in a clinic or physician office setting
• 1+ years of coding experience abstracting from clinical notes or dictations
