Job Summary
To support quality and safety in infusion services, the part-time Texas Licensed Medical Director will provide clinical supervision for nurse practitioners, conduct virtual meetings, and ensure compliance with clinical protocols in a flexible remote contract role requiring 2-5 hours per month.
Key responsibilities
- Provide required physician supervision for nurse practitioners in accordance with Texas state regulations
- Conduct quarterly virtual meetings to review clinical cases and ensure adherence to clinical protocols
- Collaborate with clinical leadership on quality improvement initiatives and maintain documentation of supervisory activities
Required qualifications
- Active TX MD license and DEA license
- Board certification in a relevant specialty (e.g., Gastroenterology, Rheumatology, or Neurology strongly preferred)
- Willingness to participate in ongoing training and professional development
- Commitment to ethical and legal healthcare delivery
