Job Summary
To support the delivery of safe and effective radiation therapy, the full-time Texas Licensed Medical Dosimetrist will perform external beam treatment planning and dose calculations, manage patient electronic charts, and conduct quality assurance activities while collaborating with clinical teams in a remote setting within Texas.
Key responsibilities
- Perform external beam treatment planning and dose calculations for radiation therapy patients
- Process patient electronic charts accurately and conduct chart checks to support quality assurance activities
- Serve as a mentor to team members, promoting continuous professional development and collaboration
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in a related field
- Graduate of a Medical Dosimetry JRCERT accredited program of at least 12 months
- Certified Medical Dosimetrist (CMD) certification within four years of job entry
- Experience in a radiation oncology setting is preferred
- Proficiency in quality assurance processes and electronic chart management
