Job Summary

To support a growing healthcare team, the remote Medical Insurance Verification Specialist will handle inbound and outbound calls for insurance verifications, assist with benefit verification, and educate patients on coverage options while working full-time hours between 7 am and 7 pm CST.

Key responsibilities:

• Conduct inbound and outbound calls to verify insurance coverage for prescribed therapies
• Document call results and process patient applications to determine eligibility
• Educate patients on available insurance options and assist them in navigating the process

Required qualifications:

• Minimum of two years of recent high-level medical insurance experience
• Extensive experience in the US healthcare and reimbursement industry
• Proficiency in English, both verbal and written
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to empathize with patients
• Tech-savvy, with the ability to navigate multiple computer programs efficiently
