Job Summary
To support a growing healthcare team, the part-time Texas Licensed Medical Order Specialist will review and process changes to existing patient orders, validate prescriptions and insurance coverage, and maintain accurate documentation in a fully remote environment.
Key responsibilities
- Review and process changes to existing patient orders for accuracy and compliance
- Validate prescription accuracy and determine the need for updated documentation
- Verify insurance coverage and manage authorization submissions and follow-ups
Required qualifications
- 2+ years of healthcare administrative, order processing, or insurance experience
- High school diploma or GED required
- Home health, DME, or enteral experience preferred
- Knowledge of insurance authorization processes is a plus
- Spanish speaking preferred
