Job Summary

To support a growing healthcare team, the part-time Texas Licensed Medical Order Specialist will review and process changes to existing patient orders, validate prescriptions and insurance coverage, and maintain accurate documentation in a fully remote environment.

Key responsibilities
  • Review and process changes to existing patient orders for accuracy and compliance
  • Validate prescription accuracy and determine the need for updated documentation
  • Verify insurance coverage and manage authorization submissions and follow-ups
Required qualifications
  • 2+ years of healthcare administrative, order processing, or insurance experience
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Home health, DME, or enteral experience preferred
  • Knowledge of insurance authorization processes is a plus
  • Spanish speaking preferred
