Job Summary
To support the San Marcos Cancer Center, the full-time Texas Licensed Medical Physicist will provide medical physics coverage, including quality assurance and clinical support for radiation oncology, while collaborating with a team of physicists across the Central Texas region.
Key responsibilities
- Manage all aspects of radiation oncology physics, including quality assurance and external beam clinical support
- Utilize treatment planning in Eclipse and oversee the record and verify system transitioning to Aria
- Collaborate with nearby clinics on HDR, TBI, and radiopharmaceutical programs
Required qualifications
- Master's or PhD degree in Medical Physics from a CAMPEP accredited program
- Graduation from a CAMPEP accredited residency program
- ABR board certification or in the process of obtaining certification
- Eligibility for a Texas license
- Strong organizational skills
