Job Summary
To support a busy practice, the full-time Texas Licensed Medical Physicist will provide on-site clinical medical physics support, collaborate with physicians, and ensure the proper calibration and operation of treatment equipment in the Dallas metroplex.
Key responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive on-site clinical medical physics support for radiation therapy procedures
- Consult with physicians and technical staff regarding patient treatment planning and execution
- Determine and specify dosimetric and treatment planning equipment needs, ensuring accurate calibration and monitoring
Required qualifications
- MS or PhD degree in Medical Physics from a CAMPEP-accredited graduate program
- Graduation from a CAMPEP-accredited Medical Physics residency program
- ABR board certified or in the process of obtaining certification
- Texas state licensure
- RAM license eligibility
