Job Summary
To support diverse programs and projects in a fully remote capacity, the Texas Licensed Medical Staff Manager will oversee credentialing, privileging, and governance activities while managing staff development, planning, and compliance with internal and external standards.
Key responsibilities
- Manage Medical Staff Professional Services operations including credentialing, privileging, and performance evaluations
- Ensure compliance with accreditation and regulatory standards while coordinating timely credentialing processes
- Develop and execute project plans and educational activities for ongoing staff competence and performance improvement
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, business administration, or a related field
- Five years of expert-level Medical Staff Professional Services experience in a hospital or clinical setting
- Two years of experience with Professional Performance Evaluation (FPPE/OPPE) standards
- Certification as a Certified Professional in Medical Services Management (CPMSM) or Certified Provider Credentialing Specialist (CPCS) within 24 months of hire
- Four years of supervisory or managerial experience within a complex healthcare system, preferred
