Job Summary
Experienced in Texas loans, the full-time Texas Licensed Mortgage Closer will manage the closing functions by assembling, preparing, and reviewing loan documents while ensuring compliance with all applicable regulations.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare and review closing documents, ensuring adherence to state and federal regulations
- Monitor workflow and turn times, preparing daily reports to maintain efficiency
- Communicate with various stakeholders to ensure timely loan closings and quality funding packages
Required qualifications
- 3+ years of retail closing experience
- Strong knowledge of mortgage banking and industry regulations
- Familiarity with insurance policies, title reports, appraisals, and settlement statements
- Experience with BYTE preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
