Texas Licensed Mortgage Compliance Analyst

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Mortgage Compliance Analyst.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform detailed pre-funding and pre-purchase reviews for compliance with policies and regulations
• Conduct post-closing reviews to validate adherence to laws and investor standards
• Monitor loan files for accuracy and compliance, and escalate risks with recommendations for corrective actions

Required Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in the Mortgage Industry or Regulatory Compliance
• High school diploma required; Bachelor's degree preferred
• Entry level to intermediate knowledge of residential mortgage industry and regulatory compliance obligations
• Entry level to intermediate knowledge of FNMA, FHLMC, FHA, VA, USDA, and Non-QM guidelines
• Entry level to intermediate knowledge of Encompass loan origination system and related integrated systems
