Job Summary

Detail-oriented and efficient, the full-time Remote Texas Licensed Mortgage Loan Closer will manage the final stages of the loan process by auditing files, preparing closing documents, and ensuring compliance with investor guidelines.

Key responsibilities

• Gather critical closing components and review title commitments for accuracy prior to closing
• Order, prepare, and deliver closing packages while adhering to regulatory timelines
• Resolve post-closing items to ensure the seamless sale of loans on the secondary market

Required qualifications

• 3+ years of dedicated mortgage closing or related mortgage banking experience
• Solid understanding of mortgage loan programs, documents, and industry compliance/regulations
• Functional knowledge of Encompass and document preparation vendor software
• Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while meeting tight deadlines
• Strong history of building trust and managing relationships with internal and external partners
