Job Summary

A company is looking for an Underwriter III - Non-Delegated Mortgage.

Key Responsibilities

• Underwrite Government and Conventional loans by assessing credit, capacity, and collateral characteristics
• Manage individual pipeline and complete various underwriting tasks within established turn times
• Identify document deficiencies and communicate with clients to provide updates and request additional information

Required Qualifications and Education

• Experience with Encompass LOS preferred
• Loan quality and risk management experience
• Knowledge of FNMA and FHLMC guidelines
• Proficiency with automated underwriting systems such as Desktop Underwriter and Loan Product Advisor
• Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment and adapt to guideline changes
