Job Summary

A company is looking for a Non-Delegated Mortgage Underwriter III.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage individual pipeline by completing Conventional loans and underwriting reviews within established turn times
• Identify document deficiencies and request additional information from clients as needed
• Assist other personnel in interpreting underwriting guidelines and provide updates on loan status

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of mortgage industry experience, with 3 years of recent frontline underwriting experience preferred
• Knowledge of FNMA and FHLMC guidelines
• Proficiency with automated underwriting systems such as Desktop Underwriter and Loan Product Advisor
• College degree preferred but not required
• Experience with Encompass LOS preferred
