Job Summary

A company is looking for a Multi-Line P&C Underwriter/Broker.

Key Responsibilities

• Underwrite and broker business for insurance companies and partners
• Evaluate, classify, and rate risk to determine acceptability, coverage, and pricing
• Monitor key metrics and implement corrective actions as necessary

Required Qualifications

• 3-5+ years of underwriting experience, specifically in excess & surplus MGA/Wholesale
• Strong sales and marketing skills, along with business acumen
• Proficient with multi-faceted computer systems
• Strong knowledge of underwriting concepts, practices, and procedures
• Insurance license, CPCU, CIC, or comparable designations preferred
