Texas Licensed National Sales Agent

Job Summary

A company is looking for a National Sales Agent, Direct Distribution - Personal Lines (Licensed Candidates Only - WFH).

Key Responsibilities:

• Handles incoming calls/emails from prospective customers for property/casualty lines insurance and performs follow-up work to close sales
• Writes quality risk policies based on underwriting requirements and utilizes sales techniques to close sales
• Provides counseling about insurance needs, determines eligibility, and binds coverage after collecting necessary data

Required Qualifications, Training, and Education:

• High school diploma or equivalent; undergraduate studies preferred
• Active state licensing as required for property/casualty products
• Three or more years of related work experience in sales of property/casualty and life insurance
• Advanced knowledge of sales techniques and property/casualty insurance products
• Ability to operate personal computer and related software
