Job Summary

To support a growing panel of specialty reviewers, the remote Board Certified Physician Reviewer - Neurological Surgery (Texas License) will evaluate medical necessity for treatment requests and appeals, managing a flexible caseload on a per-case compensation basis.

Key responsibilities

• Review treatment requests and previously denied services for medical necessity
• Manage a customized caseload based on personal schedule and availability
• Complete reviews efficiently, typically within 15-20 minutes per case

Required qualifications

• Current, unrestricted Texas Medical License
• Active practice in Neurological Surgery
• Board Certified in Neurological Surgery
