Texas Licensed Nurse Consultant
Job Summary
To support legal teams in medical malpractice cases, the fully remote Texas Licensed Nurse Consultant will apply medical knowledge to review claims, analyze medical records, and collaborate with attorneys and claims professionals during litigation.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct thorough medical malpractice case reviews and prepare detailed medical chronologies and reports
- Schedule and conduct meetings with healthcare providers to investigate claims further
- Collaborate with legal teams to develop case strategies and assist in trial preparation
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) or equivalent with a Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Minimum of 5 years of clinical experience
- Proficient knowledge of medical malpractice and personal injury law
- Strong research and analytical skills to interpret complex medical information
- Proficient in using medical research databases and legal research tools
