Texas Licensed Nurse Practitioner
Job Summary
A company is looking for a Lead Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant for a remote position with the United States Coast Guard.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead medical record reviews and adjudicate medical waivers for applicants
- Analyze training outcomes related to medical waivers and provide feedback
- Ensure compliance with USCG and DoD medical policies and standards
Required Qualifications
- Doctorate or Master's Degree in a medical field from an accredited program
- Current, unrestricted medical license in at least one U.S. state
- Board certification as a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner
- Minimum of three years of experience in medical record review or military medical assessments
- Experience with Electronic Medical Record systems, including Cerner EMR and MHS GENESIS
