Job Summary
Providing essential clinical care, the remote contract Texas Licensed Nurse Practitioner will manage comprehensive mental health medication treatment through video appointments, conducting evaluations and prescribing medications for children, teens, and young adults.
Key responsibilities:
- Practice comprehensive mental health medication management via 60-minute intake and follow-up appointments
- Conduct mental health risk assessments and psychiatric medication evaluations
- Construct patient-centered treatment plans, document recommendations, and manage psychiatric medications
Required qualifications:
- Graduate from an accredited Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner program or an accredited PA program with relevant certification
- Unrestricted state license in Texas
- A minimum of 2 years in practice
- Strong preference for NPs and PA-Cs with an active DEA license
- Preference for NPs and PA-Cs with additional certification or clinical experience with minors
