Job Summary
To support a growing telemedicine practice, the full-time Texas Licensed Nurse Practitioner will manage new, follow-up, and established headache patients while working remotely with a predictable Monday-Friday schedule and occasional in-person training and meetings.
Key responsibilities
- Assess patients' physical and mental conditions through comprehensive examinations and medical histories
- Formulate and implement comprehensive treatment plans based on patient assessments and evidence-based medicine
- Prescribe medications and recommend treatments while counseling patients and families on illness management and health promotion
Required qualifications
- Current license to practice as a Nurse Practitioner in Texas
- Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program
- National Nurse Practitioner certification in the area of specialty for intended patient population
- Preferred five years of Advanced Practice Provider experience, with an emphasis on headache medicine
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of hire or transfer
