Job Summary

To support effective disability management, the full-time Texas Licensed Occupational Health Nurse will track and administer Short Term Disability (STD), Long Term Disability (LTD), Family Medical Leave Act (FMLA), and Workers' Compensation (WC) programs while working remotely.

Key responsibilities
  • Execute STD, LTD, ADA, WC, and FMLA policies to facilitate claimants' return to work through collaboration with various stakeholders
  • Review cases for medical appropriateness and coordinate with medical consultants to ensure compliance with guidelines
  • Partner with Claims Examiners to ensure accurate and timely payroll processing for disability claims
Required qualifications
  • RN with 3-5 years of clinical nursing experience
  • Current RN license
  • Strong computer skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills for sensitive discussions
  • Ability to manage disability claims objectively and professionally
