Job Summary

To support the HealthPoint Occupational Health Program, the full-time Texas Licensed Occupational Health Nurse will develop and administer occupational health programs, provide nursing assessment and treatment for work-related injuries and illnesses, and manage medical surveillance programs while collaborating with various university departments.

Key responsibilities
  • Provide onsite assessment and treatment for work-related injuries and illnesses, including first aid and medical referrals
  • Coordinate and manage employee participation in occupational health medical surveillance programs
  • Collaborate on workers' compensation claims and maintain accurate clinical documentation and records
Required qualifications
  • Active, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license to practice in the State of Texas
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, including CPR/AED
  • Experience in occupational health nursing or similar clinical settings
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and maintain confidentiality
  • Strong organizational and documentation skills
