Job Summary
Seeking a Texas Licensed Offensive Security Engineer, the full-time remote position will manage penetration testing, vulnerability validation, and collaboration with engineering teams to enhance security measures across applications and infrastructure.
Key responsibilities:
- Plan and execute penetration tests on web applications, APIs, and cloud environments
- Validate vulnerabilities and partner with engineering teams to verify fixes and re-test remediations
- Develop and maintain internal offensive security tooling and contribute to security training initiatives
Required qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience in penetration testing or offensive security
- Strong knowledge of web application security and common exploitation techniques
- Proficiency with offensive security tools such as Burp Suite and Metasploit
- Experience in scripting/programming with Python, Go, or similar languages
- Solid understanding of cloud security concepts and familiarity with at least one major cloud provider
