Job Summary
Offering a flexible opportunity for Texas Licensed Optometrists, the full-time or part-time Independent Contractor will conduct comprehensive eye exams remotely using patented technology while collaborating with patients and support staff.
Key responsibilities
- Examine patients remotely in the states where licensed using specialized video conference technology
- Analyze eye health and generate prescriptions for eyeglasses or contact lenses with the support of Ophthalmic Technicians
- Manage patient communications effectively through verbal and visual interactions
Required qualifications
- Doctor of Optometry degree from an accredited institution
- Active Texas state optometry license
- Experience with telemedicine or remote patient care is preferred
- Multiple state licenses are a plus
- Willingness to undergo credentialing and training as needed
