Job Summary
To support a government project, the full-time Texas Licensed Oracle Database Administrator will manage and optimize enterprise Oracle database environments, ensuring high availability and security while working remotely.
Key responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and maintain enterprise Oracle database environments supporting ERP systems and ETL processes
- Lead database upgrades and manage Oracle Grid Infrastructure environments
- Monitor database performance and perform advanced performance tuning to optimize processing efficiency
Required qualifications:
- 8+ years of experience managing Oracle database infrastructure (19c or higher) in enterprise environments
- 8+ years of hands-on experience with Oracle Grid Infrastructure (ASM, Clusterware) setup and administration
- 8+ years of experience with high-availability solutions (e.g., GoldenGate, Active Data Guard)
- 8+ years of advanced scripting experience using Linux and SQL for automation and database management
- 8+ years of experience in database performance tuning, backup/recovery, and disaster recovery planning
