Job Summary

To support a mission-driven team, the remote Texas Licensed Outreach Specialist will advocate for health plan members by managing applications for Social Security disability benefits, maintaining communication with members and agencies, and ensuring accurate documentation throughout the process.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the main point of contact for health plan members, providing support and clarifying complex information
• Manage relationships with medical providers and government agencies to ensure timely application processing
• Gather and submit necessary documentation while proactively managing member accounts to secure benefits

Required qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in customer service, with a background in social services or disability claims processing preferred
• Fluency in English and Spanish, with strong communication skills
• Detail-oriented with a goal-driven mindset and willingness to learn
• Proficiency in Microsoft Suite and ability to navigate multiple software systems
• Experience managing high-volume phone interactions in a fast-paced environment
