Job Summary
To support a growing litigation team, the fully remote Texas Licensed Paralegal Specialist will manage the litigation life cycle for high-impact insurance defense cases, including drafting pleadings, managing discovery, and preparing for arbitration and trial.
Key responsibilities
- Manage litigation files from inception through resolution, including trial preparation
- Draft and file pleadings, respond to discovery, and support motion practice
- Order and track medical records; prepare arbitration and trial materials
Required qualifications
- At least a paralegal certificate from an ABA-approved program or equivalent education with 5 years of paralegal experience
- A minimum of 5 years of experience as a paralegal focused on insurance defense or civil litigation
- Experience managing high-volume caseloads in a fast-paced legal environment
- Familiarity with legal procedures, including pleadings, discovery, motions, and court filings
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple cases and prioritize tasks effectively
