Job Summary
Joining a collaborative team, the full-time Texas Licensed Paralegal Specialist will manage the litigation life cycle for high-impact insurance defense cases, including drafting pleadings, managing discovery, and preparing for arbitration and trial, all while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Manage litigation files from inception through resolution, including trial preparation
- Draft and file pleadings, respond to discovery, and support motion practice
- Order and track medical records; coordinate expert review and disclosures
Required qualifications
- Paralegal certificate from an ABA-approved program or equivalent education with 5 years of paralegal experience
- 5+ years of experience as a paralegal with a focus on insurance defense or civil litigation
- Experience managing high-volume caseloads in a fast-paced legal environment
- Familiarity with legal procedures, including pleadings, discovery, motions, and court filings
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for drafting legal documents and correspondence
