Job Summary
Supporting students with disabilities in a fully virtual environment, the full-time Texas Licensed Paraprofessional will assist a certified special education teacher by providing academic, behavioral, and organizational support to help students progress toward their individualized education program (IEP) goals.
Key responsibilities
- Assist in delivering live and asynchronous instruction to individuals and small groups
- Monitor student engagement and provide real-time support through various online platforms
- Collaborate with teachers and families to implement IEP accommodations and modifications
Required qualifications
- High school diploma or recognized equivalent required
- 48 semester hours of college coursework, an associate degree, or completion of an approved local academic assessment preferred
- Experience working with children or adolescents, preferably in an educational setting
- Experience supporting students with disabilities is preferred
- Proficiency with digital platforms and virtual learning environments is a plus
