Texas Licensed Patient Business Supervisor

Job Summary

To support the operations of Revenue Billing within Patient Business Services, the full-time Texas Licensed Patient Business Supervisor will oversee institutional claim processing, ensure compliance with billing regulations, and guide daily workflows while working remotely with occasional in-person requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate hospital commercial and governmental billing functions for inpatient and outpatient services
• Oversee processing and billing of institutional claims, ensuring compliance with billing regulations
• Prepare management reports on key financial indicators and analyze data related to quality and financial performance outcomes

Required qualifications

• Associate's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, or a related field; Bachelor's degree preferred
• Six years of accounting or business office experience, including two years of supervisory experience
• Experience in hospital collections, EPIC, or leadership roles is preferred
• Knowledge of governmental and commercial billing regulations
• Successful completion of relevant leadership programs may substitute for supervisory experience
