Texas Licensed Payroll Functional Lead

Job Summary

Providing advanced consultative services, the full-time Texas Licensed Payroll Functional Lead will support the CAPPS HR/Payroll modules, ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations while configuring and maintaining PeopleSoft systems in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Provide senior-level functional support across CAPPS HR/Payroll modules, including Workforce Administration and Payroll
• Configure and maintain PeopleSoft HCM 9.2 system components, ensuring compliance with FMLA and state policies
• Manage batch job processing and oversee incident management, providing Tier 2 support for complex issues

Required qualifications

• 15 years of extensive knowledge of State of Texas policies and federal labor laws
• 15 years of advanced technical expertise in PeopleSoft tools, including Application Designer and Integration Broker
• 10 years of experience working in the Texas public sector across multiple agencies
• 10 years of hands-on experience with PeopleSoft HCM 9.2 CAPPS HR/Payroll tower
• 8 years of knowledge of ITIL principles (ITSM/ITAM)
