Job Summary

A company is looking for an Assistant Professor, Clinical Faculty Appointment (CFA) in Pediatrics - Patient Care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide clinical expertise in Hematology/Oncology, specializing in Neuro-Oncology or Neurology
  • Manage clinical trials and create a research and teaching environment for fellows, residents, and students
  • Develop innovative clinical operations, lead clinical trials, publish research, and create educational programs


Required Qualifications, Training, and Education
  • Medical degree and completion of residency as defined by the Texas Medical Board
  • Completed residency training in an approved American Residency Program or equivalent
  • Board certified or board eligible in the American Board of Pediatrics
  • Board certified in Pediatric Hematology/Oncology or Medical Oncology, or equivalent, with certification required within four years of employment
  • At least 2 years of experience as an Instructor or 5 years post-degree in a relevant clinical role
