Job Summary

Providing senior-level functional and consultative support for the Centralized Accounting and Payroll/Personnel System (CAPPS) program, the full-time Texas Licensed PeopleSoft Consultant will work remotely to manage PeopleSoft HCM 9.2 HR modules, ensuring compliance with state policies and federal labor laws while leading system enhancements and supporting over 100 agencies.

Key responsibilities

• Provide senior-level functional support for CAPPS HR/Payroll modules, including Workforce Administration and HR Security
• Lead functional design activities and system configuration using PeopleSoft tools, ensuring compliance with FMLA regulations
• Manage system lifecycle activities and provide Level 2 Service Desk support while ensuring data integrity and system security

Required qualifications

• 8 years of experience supporting Texas state government agencies
• 8 years of hands-on experience with PeopleSoft HCM 9.2 HR module
• 8 years of knowledge of federal labor laws and State of Texas HR policies and regulations
• 4 years of functional project management experience within CAPPS or similar ERP programs
• 3 years of experience supporting large-scale ERP operations in multi-instance environments
