Job Summary

To support the State of Texas CAPPS Program, a Texas Licensed PeopleSoft Consultant will work full-time in Austin, TX, focusing on driving functional and technical improvements across HR/Payroll Time and Labor modules while collaborating with on-site and remote teams.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as subject matter expert for CAPPS HR/Payroll Time and Labor modules, managing production support, configuration, and compliance
• Lead requirements gathering, solution design, and functional configuration, including testing and oversight of integrations and reporting
• Deliver user training and support while ensuring system integrity and adherence to accessibility standards and organizational policies

Required qualifications

• 15+ years of experience with State of Texas public sector HR/payroll systems and policies
• Extensive expertise in PeopleSoft HCM 9.2 (Time and Labor), App Designer, SQR/SQL, and BI Publisher
• In-depth knowledge of security practices (NIST) for statewide ERP environments
• Proven experience in project management and cross-functional communication
• Experience with WCAG 2.1 accessibility standards and ITIL practices
