Job Summary
To support the CAPPS Program, the full-time Texas Licensed PeopleSoft Consultant will provide advanced consultative services and functional assistance for the Asset Management module, including production support, configuration, and user training, while working in a hybrid environment with both onsite and remote team members.
Key responsibilities
- Manage functional expertise for the CAPPS Asset Management module, including configuration, maintenance, and issue resolution
- Oversee batch job monitoring and ensure compliance with system performance and security standards
- Coordinate training and support for agency personnel, while participating in project-level activities and fiscal year-end processes
Required qualifications
- 10+ years of experience with PeopleSoft FSCM, specifically the Asset Management module
- Extensive knowledge of SQR/SQL, BI Publisher, and project management methodologies
- Experience with ITIL principles and practices for IT service management
- Strong understanding of Texas state government policies and procedures
- Proficiency in managing complex system configurations and providing Tier 2 Service Desk support
