Job Summary
To support the CAPPS Program, the full-time Texas Licensed PeopleSoft Consultant will provide senior-level consultative services and functional assistance related to the General Ledger, Commitment Control Accounting, and other financial modules, while working both onsite and remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Perform advanced consultative services and functional assistance for CAPPS General Ledger and related modules
- Oversee module ownership, production support, configuration, and business process leadership
- Collaborate cross-functionally to gather requirements, manage incidents, and ensure compliance with security and accessibility standards
Required qualifications
- 15 years of extensive knowledge and experience with PeopleSoft FSCM, particularly General Ledger and Commitment Control modules
- Proficiency in technical skillsets including App Designer, SQR, SQL, and BI Publisher
- Experience in project management activities and providing Tier 2 Service Desk support
- Strong familiarity with ITIL principles and practices for IT service management
- Knowledge of NIST standards and multi-tenancy requirements for statewide ERP systems
