Texas Licensed PeopleSoft Payroll Analyst

Job Summary

Supporting statewide payroll operations, the remote Texas Licensed PeopleSoft Payroll Analyst will manage day-to-day functional support for the PeopleSoft 9.2 Payroll module, troubleshoot payroll issues, and lead fiscal year-end activities on a contract basis.

Key responsibilities

• Provide functional support for the PeopleSoft 9.2 Payroll module across a statewide agency network
• Troubleshoot payroll issues including calculation errors, retro pay, and tax discrepancies
• Lead fiscal year-end activities, including quarterly 941 reconciliations and W-2 validation

Required qualifications

• Deep hands-on experience supporting a PeopleSoft HCM 9.2-based environment focused on the Payroll module
• Extensive knowledge of federal labor laws and experience with system configuration changes
• Strong technical skills including Application Designer, SQR, SQL, and BI Publisher
• Experience managing the Approval Workflow Engine and payroll batch job tools
• Texas public sector or state government experience strongly preferred
