Job Summary
To enhance the physical and psychological health of Soldiers and their families, the full-time Texas Licensed Performance Expert will provide resilience training and performance enhancement instruction, assess training effectiveness, and develop tailored educational programs, working primarily onsite at Fort Hood, Texas.
Key responsibilities
- Instruct individuals in holistic approaches to strength, conditioning, and resilience while conducting training intake and developing training plans
- Assess training impact through surveys and After-Action Reviews, providing feedback and maintaining training records
- Deliver training focused on resilience and performance enhancement, empowering leaders with communication and counseling skills
Required qualifications
- Master's degree in Psychology, Counseling Psychology, Counseling Education, Coaching Education, or Kinesiology with a focus on sport and/or performance psychology
- Teaching or coaching experience, preferably with military and Department of Defense personnel
- Thorough knowledge of Army organizational structure, mission objectives, and related policies
- Certification and evaluation required prior to performing Performance Expert tasks
