Job Summary

A company is looking for an Underwriter I - Personal Lines.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze the acceptability of low complexity business and perform risk analysis using technology and external data sources
• Maintain accurate records of decisions and ensure adherence to policies and underwriting guidelines
• Communicate decisions and respond to requests promptly while building positive relationships with internal and external parties

Required Qualifications

• 2+ years of Underwriting experience required
• Willingness to enroll in or actively pursuing a Property and Casualty Industry Designation
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
• Strong decision-making skills with the ability to provide justification
• Demonstrated planning and organizing skills with the ability to prioritize daily tasks
