Job Summary
To provide compassionate end-of-life care, the full-time Texas Licensed Pet Hospice Veterinarian will perform in-home euthanasia and hospice services for pet families across Houston and surrounding areas, working in a mobile environment without the constraints of a non-compete agreement.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct in-home euthanasia and hospice consultations with pet families
- Manage a self-scheduled workload while providing compassionate care
- Communicate professionally with team members and pet owners regarding care options
Required qualifications
- DVM/VMD/BVMS degree from an accredited veterinary school
- Valid driver's license and ability to work independently in a mobile environment
- Weekend availability for rotational shifts
- Ability to lift up to 45 lbs unassisted
- Demonstrated compassion, dignity, and respect in all interactions
