Job Summary
To support a growing pharmacy, the full-time Texas Licensed Pharmacist will manage the prescription intake process, ensuring accuracy and compliance while collaborating with healthcare providers and patients in a remote environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Receives and verifies incoming prescriptions from various sources, ensuring accuracy and compliance
- Collaborates with healthcare providers to resolve prescription-related issues and provide exceptional customer service to patients
- Maintains accurate records of prescription intake activities and performs routine checks to ensure data integrity
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy or Doctor of Pharmacy degree from an accredited school of pharmacy
- Current and active pharmacist license in Texas
- 3+ years of experience focusing on prescription intake and prior authorization
- Excellent knowledge of medical and biological terminology
- Strong patient service skills and knowledge of chemistry and drug interactions
