Job Summary
To support a national healthcare company, the remote contract Texas Licensed Pharmacist will review patient prescriptions, assess drug interactions, and assist with patient inquiries while maintaining quality assurance and compliance with pharmacy regulations.
Key responsibilities
- Review and complete prior authorization criteria based on policy and procedure
- Evaluate patient profiles and determine necessary follow-ups with physicians
- Dispense medications and perform final quality checks for accuracy and dosage
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy or Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD)
- Active pharmacist license in good standing in the state of Texas
- Verifiable High School Diploma or GED
- Strong clinical judgment and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment
