Texas Licensed Pharmacy Technician

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Pharmacy Technician - Billing Adjudication.

Key Responsibilities

• Adjudicate insurance claims and resolve rejections in a multi-state environment
• Handle order exceptions and work with prescribers to clarify prescriptions and obtain prior authorizations
• Manage routine notifications of insurance issues and stay updated on current Medicare/Medicaid policies

Required Qualifications

• Working knowledge of Medicare Part D, Medicaid, and Managed Medicaid
• Minimum one year experience in a retail or long-term care pharmacy environment
• 1+ year of recent experience with FrameworkLTC
• Must have or be willing to obtain Texas State Board of Pharmacy Technician License
• Ability to type an average of 50 wpm
