Job Summary

A company is looking for a Pharmacy Tech.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide professional phone assistance to callers through the prior authorization process
  • Maintain complete, timely, and accurate documentation of all approvals and denials
  • Transfer clinical questions and judgment calls to the pharmacist
Required Qualifications
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a high-volume call center, preferably in healthcare or PBM/prior authorization
  • Familiarity with medical terminology and coding
  • Active Pharmacy Technician license with no restrictions
  • National pharmacy technician certification or certification per state regulations
  • Advanced computer skills, including word processing and spreadsheet utilization
