Texas Licensed Pharmacy Technician

Job Summary

To support the onboarding process for new clients, the full-time Texas Licensed Pharmacy Technician will manage prescription order entry, phone triage, and billing while working remotely from Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM CST.

Key responsibilities:

• Accurately enter new and refill orders while handling order exceptions
• Communicate effectively with prescribers and other facilities to resolve issues and ensure timely processing
• Adjudicate insurance claims and initiate refill requests, maintaining productivity standards in a fast-paced environment

Required qualifications:

• Texas State Board of Pharmacy Technician License
• Minimum one year of experience in a retail or long-term care pharmacy; three or more years preferred
• Experience with FrameworkLTC and DocuTrack software
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite or related software
• Ability to perform basic pharmacy calculations and understand pharmacy language for interpreting prescriptions
