Job Summary
To support a long-term care pharmacy, the full-time Texas Licensed Pharmacy Technician will manage incoming phone calls, de-escalate customer issues, and maintain relationships with healthcare professionals in a fully remote environment.
Key responsibilities
- Build and maintain relationships with nurses, physicians, and caregivers
- Manage incoming phone calls and emails while troubleshooting customer issues
- Process prescription refills and submit electronic insurance claims
Required qualifications
- Current Texas State Board of Pharmacy Technician License
- Minimum one year of experience in a retail or long-term care pharmacy; 3+ years preferred
- Experience with FrameworkLTC and DocuTrack software preferred
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
- Ability to interpret prescriptions and perform pharmacy calculations
