Texas Licensed Pharmacy Technician

Job Summary

To support the order entry department, a fully remote Texas Licensed Pharmacy Technician will adjudicate insurance claims, manage order exceptions, and collaborate with prescribers to clarify prescriptions and obtain prior authorizations during standard working hours of Monday to Friday.

Key responsibilities

• Adjudicate insurance claims and resolve rejections in a multi-state environment
• Handle order exceptions and manage routine notifications of insurance issues
• Collaborate with prescribers to clarify prescriptions and obtain prior authorizations

Required qualifications

• Must possess a Texas State Board of Pharmacy Technician License
• Minimum one year of experience in a retail or long-term care pharmacy environment
• 1+ year of recent experience with FrameworkLTC
• Working knowledge of Medicare Part D, Medicaid, and Managed Medicaid in Texas
• Ability to type an average of 50 words per minute
