Texas Licensed Pharmacy Technician

Job Summary

To support a large managed care company, the fully remote Pharmacy Technician will complete prior authorization questions using chart reviews and outreach while working Monday to Friday from 8:30 am to 5:30 pm CST.

Key responsibilities

• Complete prior authorization questions within EMR and external websites for providers
• Review charts and conduct outreach to providers and patients to obtain necessary documentation
• Contact payers and pharmacies to follow up on pending cases and coordinate efforts

Required qualifications

• High School diploma or GED
• Must be a registered Pharmacy Technician in Texas
• 6+ months of experience in pharmacy, call center, or customer service
• Proficiency in data entry and computer applications (Word, Excel, etc.)
• Bilingual in Spanish is a plus
