Job Summary
To support prescription refill authorization efforts, the fully remote Texas Licensed Pharmacy Technician will manage high-volume outbound calls to physician offices, ensuring timely access to medications while maintaining compliance and accuracy.
Key Responsibilities
- Place high-volume outbound calls to physician offices regarding prescription refill authorizations
- Obtain verbal refill approvals and accurately document all call outcomes
- Maintain compliance with HIPAA regulations while navigating multiple computer applications
Required Qualifications
- Active Pharmacy Technician license in Texas
- Experience in PBM or health plan prior authorization in a remote/call center setting
- Ability to make approximately 100 outbound calls per day
- Strong documentation skills and attention to detail
- Basic computer proficiency and ability to work independently in a remote environment
