Texas Licensed Pharmacy Technician
Job Summary
Proactively growing the specialty pharmacy patient population, the remote Texas Licensed Pharmacy Technician will make outbound calls to eligible patients, enroll them in the program, and educate them on services offered by the Shields Specialty Pharmacy.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct outbound phone calls to educate and enroll patients in the Shields Partner Pharmacy program
- Review patient EMRs to ensure familiarity with their conditions prior to calls
- Identify medications and supplies requiring special handling or storage during patient interactions
Required qualifications
- Active Texas Pharmacy Technician License and National Pharmacy Technician Certification (PTCB/ExCPT)
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a pharmacy technician
- High School Diploma or GED
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook
